Or, to put it into apples and apples----About $3.00 to $3.36 USD per US gallon.

And the diff is definitely the taxes.

Heck, for that price, rent a boat with a hunkin big tank, go down, fill up and bring it back. Of course you would have to sneak it in to avoid federal taxes, custom fees, etc.

Locally, our prices sit about $2.35/USD for regular no-lead. State and federal taxes make up 43% of the cost per gallon so somewhere around 1.03 is taxes.

Gas is getting to the point where I don't even want to go for a joy ride anymore. I put just over 2 gals. in the Wing and it cost over $7.00! So much for cheap transportation.
