Ijust gota 1986 GL1200 Aspencade and have quite a bit of rust in tank. Had carb all rebuilt but need to replace tank or clean. I have read that they used the same tanks from 84-87 on the aspencade yet Honda gives different part numbers. I have looked at a few from 84 and 85 and they look identical. Can someonetell me what tanks will work for my 86?

The injected models use a different tank, all the others will fit.
