whats the step by step easiest way to do this? :praying:

Well, there isn't an "easy" way to do it but I like to work from the right hand side of the bike, so I remove the right hand fan and access the thermostat from there... Anyway you look at it, it's bit of a "bugger" to get in there- it's really tight, especially the back bolt on the thermostat housing... It can be done, just requires lot of patience, holding your mouth a certain way, sticking out your tongue, and probably a few choice adjectives...;)

Right side fan out for me too. Putting it back in was harder, there is a plastic lug you need to get in position or the fan just won't go back in place.

As said above nothing is easy on a wing except riding it. Oh BTW you need to remove the seat first. (everything you do you have to remove the seat first...lol)
