HELLO ALL
I noticed that my front brake resevoir on my 83 GL 1100 appears to have a chalkie coating on it. I scratched sveral sides on it and it is the same all the way around. It looks like the original resevoir and may be made out of some type of plastic. A picture is included. Anyone else run into to this and is it an issue to be concerned about.

Brian

Replace it. New ones are readily available. I think you've gotten nearly 26 years on it, time for a new one!

Mine is the same way as yours, just not as bad. Gonna replace it this winter unless it starts to leak.
