I would seriously doubt it's stock. What does the owners manual say about it?

Got a picture?

Normal stock configuration would have a voltage meter between the CR display dn the radio/clock display. The switch has to be after-market.

Your probably right. What i should have said is it "looks" stock. Tried to show a pic but it said it was to big and would not load. I may can send pic through e-mail if you want.

Probably a driving lamp/fog lamp/accessory switch of some kind. look on the bright side...if the installs that good, you can use it for something you might like to add down the road.

I've seen some pretty "unique" switch installs by PO's of cars/bikes I've owned...my first CB750 had a Vetter fairing with a house light switch/box/cover in the fairing. Wired up to turn off/on the headlight. With 12/2 220v heater wire.

No worries about overloading the wires in that circuit. :)

my manual says its an ejection button for when there's an annoying whine coming from the back seat.,,

Yeah, again your probably right. I plan on upgrading my old stock "yellow" head light bulb next week to a "white" one and I may trace the wires down then and see where they go while I have it apart. By the way, is that a big job. Replacing the headlight bulb. Thank you.
