I am having the left front brake caliper jumping when in use

I have had the Trac unit apart and see no problems or wear

The brakes work fine but still a concern

Thanks for all the past help

I would look for a warped rotor or oil contamination of the pads.

Also check out the needle bearings that are in the pivot just off the slider.

Thanks for the reply Jackjohn

The rotor is flat and true and the pads don 't have any noticable contamination

The brakes are good until I get to half way on the lever stroke and then it starts to jump

???

Armsrn, is the brake pulsing or is there physical movement of the caliper or other parts?

Hey Armsrn, I had this happen to me. I took the brake rotors off, put em on a surface plate and they looked flatter than that granite surface. I had another set, threw em on and the pulsing in the brake lever stopped. I wasn't even gonna bother with it anymore. Because if it aint broke, don't fix it.
