My new-to-me GL-1200 won't keep the choke on. It always works back to no-choke.

Am I in for a carb rebuild or?? It travels to the choke-on position without trouble, and feels very similar in effort to my other GL-1200. It just does not stay.

I know on the pull on 1000/1100 you can tighten the nut, but... am not sure on the 1200.... heck, I wouldn't carb rebuild just for that

the 1200 has a small steel ball on the lever. if its gone which usually jumps away by a spring when you take the controllers apart.
