if the throttle on your gl1200 is hard to turn and slow to return this may be the problem. look on the left side of the bike by the carbs. the cables for the throttle go over the top ofcarbs. the problem is the triangular shaped verticalplastic just in front of the riders knee. this plastc many times pinchs the throttle cables making them stiff. take the plastic off, use a hack saw and cut the corner off and make a little more roomfor the cables. it can make a big difference. :smiler:. regards walkabout

I think the cable routing by mother honda is correct without cutting or trimming any parts. I would check the cables are routed correctly and lube the cables.
