I know the GL 1500 alternators are rather anemic in output. Thinking of upgrading to a larger output. I also have a GL1800 that seems to have quite sufficient output.
What is the difference in outputs between the 2. I know the 1800 is quite a bit more but can't recall how much more.
I had a problem with the throttle cable today on my 1981 GL1100 standard (unfaired), on inspection the pull cable had jammed up somehow, I finally managed to get it relocated at the carb end but discovered it was failing at the throttle end and need replacing.

have anyone re-configured the brake system.(with new brake lines)
so that the front brake lever operates both front brakes; and the
rear brake pedal operates both rear brake calipers.
because many of us are long legged and useing the front brake is nicewith reason
