GL 1500 spark plug change

I like to reach down into the wells with a long handled brush and agitate any debris loose and them blow out the wells with air before I remove the old plugs. Use anti-seize and make sure to torque them properly.

There really is no need to use anti-seize with the NGK plugs that have the silver colored threads per NGK unless you are not changing them for another 10 years.

Agree with blowing crud out of the wells before removing the plugs. I also use antisieze on all my plugs. As soon as the washer touches just give it 1/4 (?) turn more if memory serves. It's printed on the box anyway.
Also, be careful as the bulbs in the lower fairing break easy if you drop the plastic. And take a few minutes to look-see all you can and maybe prevent a future issue.

Just the regular NGK plugs will do fine. If you need to remove plastic to get at them, might as well change the sub air filter and the cruise filter at the same time.

+1... Also be sure to blow out the water Drain Hole at the base of each spark plug.
