Thanks for the reply.I suspect the battery as it is original 2004 although it has always been on trickle charger and shows 13.5 volts.

Thanks for the reply.I just removed the trickle charger and was getting over 15.5 volts on voltmeter (up from 13.5v last tested definitely not healthy).Checked with volunteer as I tried starter and it dropped to 5volts.I think it is definitely knackered.
