I have a GL-1500 that's become a GL-750 by running on only 3 outta 6. It's running on only the left half (2,4,6) and nothing on the right half of the engine.
I've determined this by pulling the plug wires and figuring out that there's no change in the running characteristics.
I've tested the plug wires for spark, and I appear to have that okay.
Before I dive straight into carb-rebuild land, I was wondering if there were any recommendations.
The layout of the 1500 does make it fairly easy to determine whether the problem is spark or carburetion since the carbs each feed one bank and the coils each fire a left-right pair of cylinder. Much simpler to trouble shoot that way than the four cylinder 'Wings.
