Howdy folk's..........and yes another will it fit question. I have called 3 dealers and ask all the local guru's (1) if the 78 GL1000 headers will fit a 77, and no one seems to be even close to knowing. The bolt pattern seems to be the same, and I don't see any appreciable difference..? Any Help?

yes they will bolt up . only problem that might crop up that i can see is the angle of the header pipes to the mufflers. keep us posted.

Thank's WDA, I found a good deal (i hope) on ebay and the fellow wasn't sure but made mention of a flange difference that I don't see.. If they will bolt up and dont fit the horse shoe muffler thats ok too. Iv'e been thinking about some harley slip=ons anyway.. :coollep:
