My exhaust has seen better days, lots of holes on the right hand exhaust header, both from rust & scraping. Getting a whole exhaust for an 1100 down here in OZ appears to be next to impossible, & freight from the US of A is very expensive.

I have heard that the header from a GL1000 will bolt straight up to the 1100 engine, and you can then cut and weld the old muffler, or use whatever pipes you want.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case, and if anyone (hopefully in OZ) has some hanging around that they would like to sell.

Thanks heaps folks

YEP you can do that..requires a flex or specially bent connector to attach the muffler and some adjustment in the hanger bolt on spot but not difficult. Many use the stock Harley muffler cheap here $50 or so as most Harley guys take them off to add custom mufflers.

You can also cut off the 1100 muffler and use the 1100 headers...
