I'm currently in discussions with a manufacturer of auto exhaust tips to see if they can make some suitable replacements for the chrome tips on the GL1000 horseshoe muffler. These would be in polished stainless steel to the same dimensions as the originals, so no more unsightly rusty chrome.
This is to find out what sort of response I would have if I decide to go ahead. No firm price as yet (to some extent that will be decided by quantity) but let's face it, if your chrome has had it but the muffler is good, they would be worth doing going by what good mufflers are worth.
