does anyone know how to wire up a buzzer to the indicators of a GL1000 1980 please

You can buy small inline buzzers cheaply. Very easy to fit, the splice inline to the left and right turn signal + wires.

My 1975 has a "beeper" OEM

I do recall my 1000 had a buzzer on it.

housed in rubber skin with little metal grill on.

Mine is up by the triple tree, bundled up in the wiring. If you find it you can pull it out of the rubber cover and you will see a screw on the back of it. I had to adjust it a bit to get it working. The adjustment will also change the way it sounds a bit.

I do believe gl1000 where available in 1980 in England.
