I blew a shock seal on the right shock. Old S&W Mark III's. So, to evade any downtime while I gameplan a rebuild of both sometime later, I left the good shock in place,re-routed the air line forit and bolted in a spring shock to replace the bad shock. Hey, ...if it works on a 1500 then why not?
The ride is just fine so far without any fine tuning. I've set the springer with minimal preload and about 35psi in the air shock. I think if I crank-up the preload and drop the air a little bit I should have a softer ride but the ride is really pretty good where it is at.
