I've foolishly pulled my carbs off, given em a clean and re-fitted, but have made a hash of the linkage - to the extent that I have no sprung return-action now !

The Honda shop manual & Clymer are a bit vague on this, though the Haynes manual is better.

Can anyone explain how this works please? I know it's hard to do 'in words', but without this I'm stuffed ...

:?

I've got the bike running, and the arm-linkages are on fine - it's just the centre piece with the spring where the throttle cables connect that I've ballsed up.

Thanks in advance !

Here's some pictures of a rusty GL1100 carb setup that should be pretty much similar.

Thanks a million exavid, that's pretty much what I'm looking at here ...

I can see from 'carb 1' that the retaining spring has to go "over the top" of the circular linkage. Up until now I was looking at the hole at about "3 o'clock' on the right.

Will have another pop right now, cheers.
