Hi I'm a new member. Just got a 78 gl1000 and I'm interested in the options for air shocks in the back. Who makes them? How do they perform? Can you use factory gl1100 shocks?

80 TO 82 shocks should fit..I think the eye to eye is 13" on them also..but I'd rebuild before I put them in.. They are 25 years old..on Ebay all the time and most breakers have several sets too..

the mounts are different on the 1000 to the 1100 shocks, sorry. I do not believe anyone makes air shocks anymore for these which is too bad...
