Getting towards the final bit of this project and I hope this is my last cry for help.(well you can hope can't you!)

Found and adjusted the clutch as per haynes manual. all went well. I noticed that the adjuster screw and lock nut wobbled when I was adjusting them.

IS THIS NORMAL!

The 3 adjusters should lock down tight and shouldnt wobble.

Sometimes the adjuster at the lever will wobble if it's threaded out too far.
If thats the case, try readjusting the other up more so the adjuster at the lever threads in further. This way the lever adjuster can be used for finite adjustment.

sorry that wasn't very clear was it.

what I meant was the adjuster at the rear of the clutch housing accessed by the threaded cover plate. I found a locknut and small screw in the centre. I adjusted it as per the haynes manual. I noticed that the screw and the locknut assembally wobbled about a bit. Say 1/4 inch either way to left and right. No in and out movement. There is no noticable problem with the clutch working.

Is this movement anything to worry about.
