GL1100, another CB question

hey guys got another CB question for ya, I have an 1100 Interstate, CB is transmitting fine, but wont receive an incoming signal, is their anything I can check my self or do to try and fix it or do I need to send it to sierra and let them figure it out?

I've got one that does the same thing. Gonna send it to Sierra later this winter.

so its probably something in the CB that needs to be repaired I guess, thinks for your reply, guess I will send mine for repair too.

Hey Jason,

Don't feel bad, I've got one that acts the same way too. Transmits great but no reception. I'm like the Bagmaster going to send it off to Sierra later this month or drop it off to them at the District Rally this month. They're not too expensive compaired ot a new radio.

Mine was doing the same thing although it was more of an intermittent problem, If I got very close to a transmitting CB it would sometimes trigger the CB into receiving and it could be good for a long time.
I sent it to Sierra, they couldn't find anything wrong with it but the gave it a cleaning........ it's been OK ever since, so maybe it might have been a poor contact between modules in the CB.
