looked on here and google no dice. Anyone know? also I heard a rumor that if you put spark plug washers under the clutch springs it will give it better grip, anyone heard of this before?

The clutch hub nut torque is 44 ft/lbs.

I used to put spark plug washers below the springs on the 69-78 CB750's to 'beef them up' but haven't ever done it on a GL. I don't think they fit on GL's but don't know for sure.

Just buy new springs ... they are dirt cheap....
