1982 1100 Aspencade
Hey all, this winter I'll be removing the fairing to check all the connections inside clean and apply some die-electrical grease and to repair some spliced wire bundles from previous owner added accessories, that where removed prior my purchase. The removal wasn't very clean if you know what I mean:shock:. Anyways the gaskets around the speaker and dash gauge starting to split. While I've got everything apart like to replace them any idea where to find them or something equal too.

Hi

I only have the standard model but the seals or gasketsI that i haveare a thin foam rubber.

If sourcing the bits via web or shop shows no results you could try the method I used which is kids sheets of craft foam. It comes in all colours and is about 1 mm thin and in A5 sheets. Just cut with scissors then finish with a craft knife.

The results are sound and just as good at keeping water out.

Just a thought - have you tried JC Whitney for the rubber molding? They used to sell a vast selection of Weatherstripping.
