Hi,all. On my 83 Gl1100 I don't understand and I dont think I'm crazy,but
when I start the bike the fuel gauge goes towards full and temp gauge moves
up a little. All good, but if I start it and fuel gauge dosent move. The temp gauge red lines. I know it cant be hot that quick. I cant turn back off and restart and as long as fuel comes up temp goes back down. Can the key switch cause something like this? I thought I read something about this before, but I can't find it. Please help. Thanks Dan

It probably has a loose connection on the back of the gauges.

No just the gauges, they used to be called voltage stabilisers and are really a voltage reducer 12-7 volts.

Actually one more item... The self canceling feature of the turn signals has a 7 volt feed...
