No, some one put a thread on awhile back with a diagram. Bought what was recommended but the flasher does not show which terminal is power, ground and lights. I went thru a box of fuses and still nothing. I rotated wires and all. I provide escorting for bicycle racers, love my wing and really need the flashers. Talked to some others on this and they all said takes about 30-60 minutes to install. Am I making it harder than it is?
I added an additional set of flashing LED's using a flashing unit from a car.
Since there was not enough resistance from the LED"s to trigger the flasher I added an 1157 socket & bulb under the faring. Led's are cheap & easy to install/stick on. :waving:
They are not too hard to install. Depends on if you install the old style(2 wire) or newer electronic style (3 wire). If you going to run them for long periods of time. I would recommend the electronic style.
Easiest way to do it is to tap a wire to the positive line to the left front turn signal. Run that wire to one side of a toggle switch, run a wire from the other side of the switch to the positive wire of the right side front turn signal. Switch in off position, normal turn signals. Switch in on position, four way flashers no matter which turn signal you turn on. mount the switch wherever you want it.
