I thought the forum maybe interested in how I changed my fork oil on my GL1100.
Draining was easy, remove the schrader valve from the top of the right fork and drain the oil from the drain points at the bottom of the forks
I tried several ways to put the correct amount back in, but the 100ml syringe pump seemed the best, just I was losing some as I removed the pump and put my finger over. Likewise with putting the drain bolt back in.
After an overnight think, I decided to try hooking up a vacuum cleaner to the schrader valve point to stop the oil leaking out (see pictures fork oil1.jpg and fork oil2.jpg)
This worked perfectly, not a drop spilt
