I just picked an instrument module (temp, clock, volt, altimeter) that is year appropriate for my bike. But I'd li ke to know how it mounts up?

It has two holes on the lower edge but that's all the mounting I can see. Any advise or photos would be great.

This is a 1982 1100 I

There is a metal bracket that mounts to the fairing and the cluster mounts to the bracket.

Hi Bob, the picture is of the model II system and the Model I that you described mounts in the same location. As Dave says, you need the metal bracket to mount it up.

Okay, so there is a metal bracket, kind of similar to a license plate bracket, that mounts to the dash and goes "inside" the module?

Yes, this is the optional, analog gauge set.
