I have aftermarker, original type, mirrors on my 82 Int. I have seen descriptions ofmany attempts at making these mirrors stay adjusted and stop wobbling in the wind. As I'm fond of saying, these mirrors were designed by a drunk. Has anyone found a decent looking, non original typemirror that will mount firmly and hold its adjustment? I personally like convex mirrors but would settle for any good solution.

The UK models didn't have those fairing mounted mirrors, they had handlebar ones. You should find a mount on your handlebars (with a black plastic cap screwed in) that you can fit handlebar mirrors onto. They don't look as good as the fairing mirrors though.

Dadoo, I have tried several on my '82 and have never found anything better than the originals. They too are junk but they are convex. The flat ones provide such anarrow picture of what is behind that they are worthless. If you find anything that works, let us all know.
