hi all, im new on here and new to goldwings. i have an 82 interstate which i have just got road legal and after giving it a good run i have checked the plugs to find the front lefthand plug sooty black, the other 3 are good. it has 32000 miles clocked. any ideas on the sooty plug please. regards chris

thanks for replies fellas, will eliminate one thing at a time and see what i get. thanks again. it only misfires when cold and then runs quite well if perhaps a bit lumpy but once wound up it smooths out which i take as normal for a flat 4? appidaze regards chris
