Is the grab rail required to add a backrest frame? I just picked up a '80 GL1100 standard and want to add a passenger backrest.

Update: The seat, grab rail, exhaust and mirrors are sold. The CB is currently being bid on eBay at http://www.ebay.com/itm/300615160764 and is at $29.

The final drive, windshield and hitch are still available.
