GL1100 rims on GL1000??

Ok, my GL1000 gave birth to a calf (a.k.a I pulled the tank) and now everything is good and clean.

I'm wondering if my gl1100 rims (especially the rear and hub) will swap in place of the gl1000 rims.

My gl1100 rims are black and have newer tires is the main reason.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The front I think will fit I think but running backward because the speedo drive is on the wrong side but the rear will not work.

Thanks for the info Dave. I'm hoping the fenders will match up at least because they're black with gold trim and I like that better than the chrome fenders.

The fenders will work just fine. If you swap the final drive I think the rear will work. I know the rear will work if you swap the whole swing arm.

As for the front...I don't know.
