thinking about single carb conv would app any help on what size carb( grizz)

It can be done, a couple forum members here have single carb modifications. There was a kit to do that modification a few years back, they come up on eBay once in awhile. There are also some guys on the Back Yard Built Goldwing's Bar and Grille site who have done it. From what I've heard it works pretty well though there's usually a bit of a power loss and a reduction in gas mileage. Hang in there maybe one of the guys who've done it will chime in. Consensus seems that a 600 cfm carb works right. And if you can find a 2 bbl Weber 32/36 it can be jetted to work.

Just depends on what kind of manifold you want to build or have built.

you may want to shoot dubswing a pm, he did itusing a vw1600 carb.

I just heard from Vic Bellanger that the MSN site is being shut down. Not sure if it's happened yet but all those BackYard guys are moving over to http://www.gl1200goldwings.com If you contact Vic over there he's the admin and he may be able to point you to someone who has done the conversion.
