I would say by the way it acts it is an ignition problem. A lot of people fight with the carbs to no avail when it's the ignition causing the problem. Replace the spark plug caps and wires and if that doesn't solve the problem replace the coils. You can maybe find good OE coils but for less money you can do either the neon coil or CBR coil mod.
