I've had my '82 Interstate apart to paint, work on carbs and clean up. Well, it's taken longer that I planned on (imagine that) and now I can't remember where I got this rubber piece off. I cleaned it up nice and pretty, but can't for the life of me remember where I got it! the two tabs at each end went into holes somewhere. I remember taking it out and stretching it slightly to take it out. Anyone recognize this little guy?

Do you see a part number on it? Google the part number, surely you'll find something that way...the "name" of the part may hint to its location.

It goes on the shelter, as a seal between the 2 flaps that open when you fuel up the bike.

Part number 83121-463-000

Silicon Sam, you are correct. Of course as soon as I saw the shelter door, I remembered! Thanks for the help.
