GL1200 Alternator update

We are going back together with my friend's Poor Boy alternator mod. I didn't bother to find Top Dead Center when we were replacing the timing belts so, you guessed it, I got it out of time. So I had to retime the cams and now it cycles thru with no problems. Whew, I was scared for a minute! Will fit the radiator back on and make sure everything clears, then wire it and crank it up. The hardest part will be installing the engine guards, and tupperware after we make sure everything is operating properly. It has been a fun project and my friend will be able to run his lights, radio and maybe a set of Gerbing's heated clothing he is now wanting since he saw mine. I have a feeling I will have a friend to ride with on those cold winter days this year instead of riding alone!
