For the most part I've been lucky that my carbs have been in sync, by the tried and true method of gauging them with small, same size drills. I managed to get a mercury vaccuum stick, and would rather set them by that.

Where would I find the fittings to put on my intakes?

Or do I have rely on my own devises, and make them?

Various places you can order them but making them is pretty easy. Get a piece of 3/16 steel brake line and cut it to lengths you like and thread 1 end 5mm x .80.

I made mine by drilling a small hole down through #8x32 brass screws. I used a lock nut on the screw. Just screw in about 1/8" (yes it will be loose) and thread the lock nut down finger tight to seal the fitting. You may need to cut the head off of the screws, depending on how large the hose is.
