You sometimes see these GL1200 CB bitson Ebay. Not a lot of 1200s had the Honda CB so they aren't exactly in abundance.

I was wondering how you made out with the 1984 aspy,, while installing the CB?

I have a 1984 Aspy as well, and was wondering, when you did find all the bits, radio and multichanger box, and switch, was it all just plug and play? did it plug into existing wiring? Can you offer advice before i purchase a used setup? I found one off a 1986 aspy but i notice the left switch is different on the handlebar with the push to talk switch and the channel changer and mute buttons. On the 84's the switch goes right on top, of the Radio Selector button/mute button. Sorry for all the questions, don't want to buy it if i can't set it up. ( I already have a seperate antenna from a different setup that's i found unreliable. )

thanks.
