I'm finally getting my bike nearly back together, and have come up with a couple of questions.

1. Where does the passenger push to talk connect to the main harnass at? I can not find a plug of that color, or shape at all. I know it was hooked up when I did my tear down.

2. I've attached a photo of 2 connectors and hoping that someone can tell me what I'm forgetting to put on. BTW....the push to talk will not hook to either connection. Also, these are on the left side at the rear fender.
I really appreciate all the help I've gotten here.

The bike is an '84 Aspencade.

It would help if you narrowed down the year bike you are dealing with.

All my schematics show it as the brown 2pin connector. Maybe you could post a pic of your PTT switch.

The only other connector for the passenger PTT on the 1200 models resides at the bottom of the left pocket and that is only if the option for the passenger controller is installed.
If it is the standard PTT button it should fit in the brown 2 pin connector

Thanks to all. It looks like it does go into the brown one. It fit anyway.
Any idea what is supposed to hook up to the black connector?

There was a provision for a passenger volume controller.
Yes there was, the sound coming through passenger headset cable was passed through a junction that was fitted under the left pocket in place of the metal plate that is there now and only the sound coming to the passenger was controlled. It had nothing to do with a black connector that is shown.
