Having a bit of confusion over float level adjustment. Clymer says adjust the float level based on the distance from the float arm to the housing gasket surface.
Haynes says adjust from the float to the housing gasket surface. I assume that means from the bottom of the float itself to the housing gasket surface.
Could it be that they are referring to the same thing just using different wording.
Am I missing something here?
I know the specs are 7.5mm, but is it the float arm or the float itself? Isn't the float arm the piece held in place by the pivot pin?
Thanks!
