Howdy all! I've been following "Scotthohio"s tutorial for replacing seals and bushings. I'm having trouble removing the seal and I'm wondering if I'm interpreting his instruction correctly. I'm assuming the "lower tube" is the cast aluminum portion to which the wheel attaches. Assuming so, I
am slamming it into a block of wood on the workbench, saddle threaded bolts down. Nothing is happening.
What am I doing wrong? The way I'm doing it, the seal seems to ride along with the "lower" tube when I grab it and slam it into the wood. Assuming there is something fixed BELOW the seal, wouldn't I need to aggressively "slide" the upper tube upward to pop the seal?
