Does anyone know which is a better fork seal:

Hondaline fork seal or Pro-Moly, Leak Proof or Bike Master (got these off Bike Bandit)

I had mine replaced by dealer in TN and the left fork is starting to leak again. I do not have faith in them being installed correctly. I will install myself this time.

This is on a 1985 Gl1200 Interstate with 36000 miles on it they were replaced about 2 months ago and have put about800 miles on it since replacement.

Thanks

I do not know what will last the longest. But i did just replace mine with the leak-proof pro molly teflon coated ones and for the price they better not leak anytime soon..

PatinIdaho:

Well I sprung for a set of theleak-proof pro molly teflon coated ones. Probably will be here next week.

Did you use Dexron automatic transmission fluid or10W fork oil?

We will see how it goes - cannot be any worse than what the shop did.
