Okay 85 GL1200 limited. Replaced the fork seals yesterday and had the top compartment off. Got everything back together. but the cruise is not engaging now. The cruise power light comes on with the cruise on/off switch but when I try to set it nothing happens. Any ideas what I might of unintentionally disconnected???

Well, I took the top compartment off. Looked around, checked the fuses. Reseated a few cables that may have been disturbed and then went out for a ride. Cruise is working again. Wish I would have found a more obvious loose wire but at least I can push the button and have cruise.
