Hi, I have to replace few more gas lines on my gl1200 I,m stinking gas. The only original lines remaining are the two 90 degre from the T to the carburators. Could I replace them with stock gas line or should I order the 90 elbow from Honda?

Merci

As long as you do not kink the line you can use stock gas line. If you kink it, it will starve the bike for gas.

No need to pay for preformed OEM bent hose, you can getflexible fuel line at any auto parts store. Make sure it's for fuel and not for vacuum (non-fuel linesdeterioate quick), and be sure to use good clamps. The leftside one has a tendency to leak if the line is not perfectly flush. cya

Hi Ydna,

This is a perplexing problem.

I like things to be stock, but as best I can tell. The stock hoses aren't available.

My idea is to figure out a what late model car has a 90 degree gas line the same diameter, and buy 2 of those hoses. Haven't figured out what works yet, and if you find something I'd appreciate a heads up.
