I ordered a set of progressive springs and seals from denniskirk for my 85 1200 limited. They came yesterday.

The problem, the 1200 limited forks use a long spring and a short spring with an oil seperator brass filter between the two. The springs from progressive claim to be for all 1200's 84-87 but are a single spring.
Anybody know if it is really okay to have a single spring in the limited, or does it really need the oil seperator. I would assume the seperator is there to reduce the risk of oil getting into the air line??

Do I need to just send the springs back and stay with the stock springs?
