I have a 1984 1200ae and I've noticed that recently the odometer is recording fewer and fewer miles. The digital readouts are all still working correctly.

Is there anything I can do to save the odometer and more importantly for any UK knowledgable riders will it fail an M.O.T because of this.

I don't know what your M.O.T. Inspectors are like but I doubt hat you would be failed by any of our inspectors. As long as it is increasing from past inspections I don't think that you should have a problem. The only problem I see at the moment is that you are only getting 4mpg now.
