Hello, I've been gone from this site for quite a few months and I am wondering if anyone has a hint on how to clean the tarnishing of the aluminum parts of my gl1200 I engine. Any and all help will be appreciated. I just want to restore as close to new as possible Thanks.:?

Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish work pretty well. A little too well for my taste, but I think you can buff some of the "too chrome" off with a "Scotch Brite" pad.

Honda's finish looks like stainless steel, not chrome.

I just bought some stuff called Strong Arm Brand. The advertising video for this product shows using it on every thing, chrome, aluminum, vinyl, plastics and rubber to name a few. Shown at bike shows doing the entire motorcyle. I've used it on my diamond plate truck tool box and it worked awesome. I'm sure you can google it.
