GL1200 Passenger armrest color change

I purchased a Saddlemen Road Sofa with Backrest seat and it came with a new cover for the passenger’s back rest both are dark black in color.

The factory armrest with pockets on rear trunk are still installed and they are dark brown in color.

They look ok together but someone told me it is possible to change the color of them to match the new Black colored seat.

Has anyone done this??

I changed mine from brown to black, used spray vinyl dye from auto parts store comes in flat and gloss

That was what i was thinking but was concered about it holding up to mother nature so I asked to see if anyone had tryed it.

I too am in auto repair and service and I don't think a week goes by without me saying "I HATE BEING A MECHANIC" :ROFL:
