Blew another slide diaphragm and next to impossible to find.
I think it is time to do a conversion over to a single carb, but the question is which one and what do I need to do the whole conversion.

My bike is an 84 gl1200a Aspencade.

What is the best matchup and what do I need to do a proper conversion? I see a lot of postings for the 1100, and not a very complete one for the 1200.

Guidance is sought and greatly appreciated.

What works on an 1100 is going to work on a 1200 just as well.

I also have another "stupid" question...Why disconnect the "electric choke" on the carbs? Just curious. I live in Arizona and find the chokes normally open very quickly on both cars and bikes and wondered what exactly was the reason.
