I like to turn the dial to the left side, 20v setting as it's easier to understand for me. 11 volts at 3000rpm isn't good.

If I'm seeing correctly, the left side of the selector is for DC voltage, and no those readings are not very encouraging... :gunhead:

Welcome to the forum, Wrevanson.

Sorry about the charging. Have you checked to see if the connectors at the stator and rectifier are melting? If one is, your stator may still be OK.
