Hi All

I,m trying to convert a Gl1200 interstate(85) into a standard (84) and have a question for anyone with previous knowledge of such a project.

I have managed to get hold of bare 1200 clocks, but will not fit on the top yolk, does anyone know if the top yolks are different between the interstate and standard?

Please can anyone help

Thanks

Tim.

The top yolk is identical. You are probably missing the bracket that attaches the clocks and bars together.

Hi Eddie

Thanks for the reply, i raised the same question on NGW site and the reply seems to think they would be slightly different? do you know of a site i could compare part numbers ?

Thanks

I had a look at Bikebandit.com Tim and they list the same part number for both, have a look-see yourself.

The handlebars have different numbers but thats to be expected as the Interstate bars have slots for the plastic covers.

Ok Eddie, Thanks for advice

i,ll try and look for the bracket that i must be missing.... and may be try and adapt or try and find one some where. I was looking at buying a whole set of triple tree on a site i found, you saved me a whole stash of cash...

Many thanks

Cheers
